Summer Employment Opportunity: Youth Crew Leader in Grants, NM

Hello, Collaborative Partners!

With the summer rapidly approaching, the Forest Stewards Guild, in collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service, Mt. Taylor Ranger District, is once again hiring for our Forest Stewards Youth Corps (FSYC) summer and fall crews. We are currently seeking interested applicants for a 10-week paid seasonal Youth Crew Leader position. The summer position runs June 1-August 5 and is based out of Grants, NM.

The crew leader and members will spend their season in the enchanting Zuni Mountains performing forest and recreation upkeep and restoration work. Daily tasks may include fence building and repairs, trail construction, burn unit preparation, stream restoration, and more! Participating in the FSYC program is a great way to gain experience in natural resource management fields, leadership development, and professional development.
