New Mexico Pesticide Certification Training

  • New Mexico State University - Grants 1500 3rd Street, Room 007 Grants, NM, 87020 United States (map)

The Guild, NMDA, and USFS will be hosting a NM Pesticide Certification Course in the Zuni Mountains landscape later this winter. Having identified a need for more certified pesticide applicators in order to treat non-native invasive plants in the landscape, this free one-day course will provide the tools and information you need to get pesticide certified. The course will include a classroom portion as well as the administration of the Commercial Operator exam in the afternoon.

***To qualify for this course, your organization must have an Applicator of record with the state. If you are unsure whether your organization has an Applicator, you can contact Stephen Baca at sbaca@nmda.nmsu.edu

To register for this training, please fill out this form by February 20th. Further information will be provided following registration. Reimbursements will be available to non-federal employees for license application and testing fees.

If you have questions, please contact Mateo Pomilia at mateo@forestguild.org.
